Question:
so i want to go to snowbird this april vacation and i was wondering how much snow they will still have compared the middle of the season
thank you
Answer:
Snowbird in April is a great. The snow is pretty good and the weather is great. If you get lucky there will be some fresh powder but probably not. I wouldn't start skiing until 10 or so to let the snow soften up a little bit. The weather has been pretty warm up there lately and snow is melting pretty fast but most of the mountain should still be open.
Other Answers:
You should go! April is absolutely beautiful conditions at Snowbird. It will be spring conditions but the possibility of fresh snow is great. I have a timeshare at the Iron Blossom Lodge across from the slopes my week is the last week in April every year. I have been going that same week every year for almost 10 years now. I will tell you this almost every year we have had Fresh Pow at least 1-2 days. Also that late in the season there are hardly any crowds (meaning you can get right on the tram!) Have fun and maybe ill see you out there.
